PARKLIFE – MELBOURNE 2011.

Parklife 2011. Seriously the best festival I’ve been to yet – not sure if it was because of the acts (none of which clashed by the way!) or the crowd I was with but I’ve never danced so much in my life. Went to the festival with Pat and Greta from Comeback Kid and Jean, later met up with Tim and friends from From Britten.
Little Dragon and Katy B in the morning. We then waited so long for Mylo to drop’a the fucking pressure from then on it was smooth sailing with Santigold, Diplo, The Gossip and Lykke Li.
Some fashion spotted, Santigold wearing Givenchy and Beth Ditto wearing Jeremy Scott – although I wasn’t close enought to get any shots.
Can’t decide whether Diplo or Lykke Li were my highlight. Diplo because everyone just went fucking insane for an hour and Lykke Li is just so beautiful live. If you scroll down there’s a Youtube clip of her at Lollapalooza doing a mash up of ‘Youth Knows No Pain’ and Kanye West’s song ‘Power’ which she did last night.
